It is an important requirement of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 to maintain confidentiality of any personal and health information of educators and their families, children enrolled in the centre, and the children’s family. These guidelines apply to anyone employed or visiting the service, including family members.
As a result, all information is kept in a secure manner to prevent accidental or purposeful access by persons not involved in childcare activities or in the administration of the centre.
Parents will be requested to sign and abide by the centre’s confidentiality policy upon enrolment and if behaviour by a family member contravenes this policy their child’s position may be in jeopardy.
There are many different styles and philosophies about teaching and the way children learn in their early years. We believe that the curriculum used in a centre should reflect their philosophy and be appropriate to the specific setting of the service. Kid’N Around Early Education Centre does not use anyone particular style, approach, or type of curriculum, but implements a balanced program that draws on a range of approaches adapted to suit our service.
